I, typically, try not to exaggerate or use inflammatory language in analyzing the Middle East. The weirdness is already there. All you have to do is look it up. So this morning a jihadi fighter from Hamas was interviewed and this is what he said. (See below) “We will build the Islamic state in the territories from Tigris to Jordan and Palestine and to Lebanon. Sunni Law will rule,” he added. Just to be sure you understand what he said, he meant We will conquer all of Iraq, then move on to Jordan. And then we will conquer all of Israel, and then establishing a monolithic Islamic state. Personally, I am not into being anti-Islam or death to all Palestinians. However, the statement by the Jihadi terrorist above illuminates why the Israelis fight so hard to protect their little piece of land. Not to put too fine a point on it, but if the Islamic Jihadis announce their intent to totally liquidate Israel, what other choices does Israel have, if not to respond with deadly force?
