I understand your vehemence, brother Bernard. This is what happens when you have a government that will bend over in pleasing foreign interest to the detriment of its own people; a government some of whose officials have little or no attachment to this country; officials who see and treat Liberia as a farm or plantation where anyone with relationship to the powers that be can come and harvest what they did not sow. And after they have gathered enough they take off with impunity. There is no where that this sort of nonsense can happen except in Liberia. As long as the plantation mentality exists, this sort of unpatriotic and un-nationalistic tendency will persist.
