I urge people to entertain all circumstances before forming an opinion on certain things. Things such as domestic violence. Today as I walked past a news rack, I noticed an Inquisitor with a picture on it of someone I know. My orthopedic surgeon who replaced both of my knees. As I read the article I started to get a picture in my mind. The article read that he turned himself in to BPSO. So I have to assume that his black eye in the photo was not from resisting arrest. So then Im thinking-- how did he get a black eye? Could it be that he was the one being beaten and fought back. The article stated that there were a wife and her sister-- which tells me that sister-in-law was in his house-- inserting herself into an argument between he and his wife. When did he become violent-- before or after he was attacked by them-- was his violence agressive or an attempt to defend himself. I only know HIM on a professional -friendship level-- but I have dealt with drunks on all levels. And I know there is no reasoning with one. I know first hand how vindictive a ex- can be. They will tell any story they can think of to destroy your reputation-- get you fired from your job-- discredit you-- financially ruin you-- and get you arrested. If I had to make an assumption in this case-- I would think that this is what is happening here. I just hate to see someone drug thru the mud with only the word of a disgruntled wife and her sister who can tell any story they like-- and he has to defend himself in court. My advice to him is to move on and dont look back. Its like that jug of milk in the refrigerator -- once it goes sour-- you can go back 1000 times to take a sip-- but its still sour. Once it goes bad-- it stays bad. This is just a sample of what youll face down the road. Its that little remark made under her breath that you didnt hear--Ill get his ass. And theyll keep on til they do. Walk away-- its your only hope.
