I use to be like Im not a babys mama Im a mother or I dont have a babys dad I have a babys father. Now when I hear people say that, its the funniest shit ever. MY son is someones baby and I am his mama same goes for fathers/dads. In all reality its the same dang thing. Instead of us worrying about labels we need to be trying to be GREAT parents. Teach our children about things that really matter, things that will teach them to succeed and survive in this CRAZY world. Fill their heads with useful knowledge. Show them change starts within theirselves. If we had more moms/dads/fathers/mothers trying to be GREAT PARENTS we could probably avoid situations like the 12 yrs old getting shot by the cops bc they thought his toy gun was real. Everyone is to blame except the parents? Maybe if the boy was taught to not play with or point guns at people it wouldnt have happened. In no way am I saying the kid or his family deserved this! What I am say is. IT ALL STARTS WITH PARENTING! Lets start setting good examples for OUR children. Everyone talks about change, we are the ones who are raising the ones who can possible change the world. These cops/politicians/etc that we dont like now in 20 years can possibly be one of our children and if we install the right morals/values in them now they will be the ones to bring that change. Just remember even when we think theyre (our children) not watching they are. They look up to us. Keep that in mind also when youre posting non-sense on these social networks. Theres always going to be someone that admires you and thinks bc you said it, its cool/right. I challenge everyone thats MY friend on here to post something positive, uplifting, knowledgable, etc at least 1 time each day this week. You never know who is watching T.R.A.P.
