I used 2 pieces 9x9 for outer fabric and 2 9x9 for lining. and you can square the bottom too but I just didnt on this video! It may take a bit longer with a regular sewing machine and youll need to put on your zipper foot and sew close to your edge..Also, you can top stitch with regular sewing machine close to the zipper on the outside for a more finished look! Hope this helps with zippers!! Were making these tomorrow in camp but with sewing machines instead of sergers! So it will take about 1 to 1 1/2 hours! cutting too!
