I used to buy a lot of stuff from amazon.co.uk as they were cheaper than the High Street retailers and they offered free economy delivery on must stuff. Whats more there turn around was quick even if you selected the economy delivery, Ive order stuff on a economy delivery on a Friday not expecting it to be delivered until a week later and its delivered on the Sunday (3 days after placing the order). Now Amazon has changed the rules so that they only offer free delivery on orders over £10 which means if I purchase a book for £5.50 Im hit with a £3 P&P charge, therefore I might as well pay the extra 50p and buy it from waterstones as I can save it in store and collect it. Itll cost me no extra in fare as I need to pay fare money to go to uni and the waterstone store is just round the corner.
