I used to feel that it was unfair/unreasonable to boycott a company just because their CEO had specific views or donated to specific causes. My belief was that those views could not directly affect the employees of their companies. Now, its clear that corporations are allowed to formally absorb/mirror the discriminatory beliefs of their CEOs and boards (it was probably informal before and I was being naive). As such, I retract any past statements against boycotts related to the beliefs and behaviors of individuals in management. If your CEO is a bigot (whether under the shield of religion or something else), Im done with you. I wont make the mistake of defending the legal line between the personal beliefs of the CEO and the personal beliefs of the company ever again. I apologize for my past errors on this matter.
