I used to think I had a bad immune system...for most of my life, Id get sick about once/month. About 9 months ago, I made a few adjustments to my sleep habits -- and voila! Healthy immune system. 1) Kid sized earplugs when Im traveling or bunking with friends. I have tiny ears, so the regular size earplugs hurt and dont fit well enough to actually reduce noise. 2) Black out curtains are a MUST (and an eye mask when traveling) 3) Melatonin or benadryl for traveling between time zones 4) 5 or 10 minutes of a meditation app before snooze time (I like the app Simply Being.) policymic/articles/87653/here-s-a-surprising-look-at-what-sleep-deprivation-does-to-your-body
