I used to think, until quite recently, that I was a pillar of absolute strength. I was the rock everybody leaned on, the paragon of solidity, of immovability, of force implied, when not projected. Now I understand the truth. I made myself a statistical outlier in every way I could identify since my childhood. Where I lacked strength and power, I lusted after it obsessively. Now I understand the truth. I went too far. Far, far too far. Now I understand the Truth. I broke myself in my efforts to strengthen myself. I ignored what was truly important. Now I understand the truth. I have a long way to go, and the direction I must travel, for the first time in my life, is not forward, but backward. Its time to go back and pick up the pieces I discarded so long ago. the ones I thought were garbage: useless to me. I hope I can find them. Its gonna be a long and interesting journey. Kinda like a scavenger hunt, I suppose. but at least now, I understand the Truth.
