I used to wonder when my life will stop revealing more stormy seasons. Id wonder whether things would just be normal or simple for once, instead more hurdles would appear and more mountains would form for me to climb. Im learning that through relationship with the Trinity its possible to turn trials in triumphs and stay upright in all storms. Trials test our faith, just as training can make an athlete stronger, we too have our strength increased. Trials rightly used mature us and create better character. Character cannot be developed amongst ease and constant comfort. Do my question has now changed direction. Its not so much whether I will have to face another trial, its just a matter of when and how. I am starting to see that each and every trial that finds its way into our lives, comes with intentional purpose. If we are not prepared and ready, the devil will come with the intention to steal, kill and destroy. Trials are the the soil in which we grow. Gods desire is intimacy and once letting God reign through our storms, intimacy increases as He helps you adjust your sails. Storms make trees take deeper roots and the bigger the storms the more glorious the triumph. For deeper roots and more intimacy with our Heavenly Father, I choose storms over sunshine! #StandingUprightInStorms
