I usually dont share personal or medical info on Facebook but Im worried to death about my little boy. Yesterday morning he broke out in hives. We took him into his pediatrician. They prescribed him Claritin and told us to give him benedryl and sent us on our way. This morning he woke up with a swollen face so I called Mary bridge and they said your pediatrician can handle this so I called the pediatrician back and they said to come in. This time they prescribed a steroid and sent us away. Ive never dealt with an allergic reaction before and have no idea what to expect. They said if his lips swell to call 911. Has anyone dealt with this sort of thing before? How long does it last? What process do I take to find out what caused it so it doesnt happen again? Im worrying myself sick 😣 any advice would be greatly appreciated .....
