I usually keep my Facebook for obnoxious family stuff but forgive me this one time because I have kept my mouth shut for the last week but for some reason this St. Louis Rams situation has set me off! For the last 24+years I have been married to a police officer and for the last year and a half Ive been the mother of a police officer so I can speak from experience. You see when we kiss our loved ones goodbye we dont know when and if they will come home. Ive been the young mother home alone with a baby who had a girl banging on her door at 2:00 in the morning because her boyfriend was beating her up. Ive been the wife whos husband has been called out on SWAT duty at any hour. Recently Ive been the mother who got the phone call that the person my son just arrested had just killed 2 people 30 minutes prior to that. And then theres the phone call I got where the 15 year old my son had to take down had a loaded gun come out of his jacket!!!! So you see there is another side to the story! Then theres also good the police officers do on and off duty that are never acknowledged. Ive seen many changing tires, playing with kids, etc.... regardless of race. My own son bought a homeless African American man Thanksgiving dinner while he was working that day! Are all police officers good? No but neither are all doctors, lawyers etc....we have a crime/sin problem not a race problem!! Shame on you St. Louis Rams for allowing this bad behavior to continue!!
