It has taken me 68 years to figure out life. If you are an atheist you are right, if you are a theist you are right too. If you believe life is a gift and happiness is yours, you are right. If you believe life is hell and sorrow and pain are yours, you too are right. I have found that there is more than meets the eye about human belief. (It is the same thing for animal belief too.) The more fuss you make of life, the more contrary it becomes. It obligingly follows your individual average mental temperature, high and it is high, low and it is low. I know that the majority of you readers think I am loony to think so, but you have just not opened your eyes enough. People seem to press their most strongly held prejudices, and self-short comings on “the other fellow”. I ask you to hang a mirror on the most persistent form of bad habit you have found in others, and you will, if you are truthful with yourself, find you are guiltier of that habit than the person you are hanging it on. It is like all of life is just an experiment in mental agility. You make up the story as you go along, and person yourself as the solid life form in the story. There is no “solid” world, only mental ones. We each get so carried away with the telling of our story, that we believe it. I only have one question, am I telling the story myself only, or am I interacting with several other persons telling their stories. But I guess it is not important, in the long run both are right, except in the long run there is only ONE.
