I very rarely scroll through my news feed on Facebook but every once in a while I enjoy reading a plethora of opinions on similar issues, I enjoy reading people posting news articles about politics and then some people like to share with the world their mediocre daily routines. Im uncertain why people post what they post, Im not even sure why I am writing this. I guess I wanted to draw attention to the power of speech. Words are very valuable and so often we waste them in trivial pursuits. I fear that we may form opinions purely on social media posts. I have a lot of friends with varying beliefs yet a vast majority of people I interact share similar ideas to me, hence why they are my friends but I would hesitate to truly take any opinion as fact because it would come from a place of bias. If I watch FOX news all day I will listen to opinions the same with MSNBC, CNN and any other major or minor media outlet. In fact dont believe a word I say.... ever. I only speak my truth as it relates to me. I share my opinions not because I think Im smart, not because I thi nk I know best, but because Id rather have a voice than let life pass me by.
