I very strongly feel that time has come that we send UPA packing for long Banwaas of minimum 28 years. Inspite of being in power for more than 45 years since independence , successive congress Governments have miserably failed and my analysis of such failure are as under: a) We still have “BPL” i.e Below Poverty Line in our dictionary, which is shame for all us. b) We have failed in providing basic requirement of “Roti , Kapda aur Makaan” to our citizens. c) We still have not been able to provide Clean Tap Water , 24 hrs electricity and motorable roads for all our citizens. d) We have not managed to provide even primary level education and primary level health care for all. e) We have not managed to generate enough job opportunities to give employment to all our eligible youths. f) Inspite of the fact , Bofors issue was raised for corruption way back in 1980’s and congress lost subsequent election on Nov’89, Congress learnt no lesson and after that sort record was broken every year when corruption charges were leveled against congress govt of astronomical amount. g) Inspite of the open secret about black money parked out side india , no effective steps taken till now to bring it back. h) Inspite of the fact that India is primarily agriculture based economy , still no steps taken to improve conditions of farmers and they still get price which is 20% of what is paid by end user. The long term vision to create infrastructure required for marketing , transportation and storage of agriculture produce is not at all there in congress scheme of things. i) Inspite of the fact , that our entire economy is dependent on agriculture and our productivity per acre is probably lowest in the world, no effective steps taken or even thought of by successive congress govts to bring productivity at par with the world standards. One of the reason here is our farmers dependent on rain god, we can substantially improve productivity by drastically improving irrigation system. j) The rich and poor divide has increased to unimaginable level. On one hand someone here can think of a house worth 5000 crores whereas for staying, whereas on the other people do not have even jhopdis and they pass night on foot path. k) I fail to understand , why petroleum products are so costly in our country when it is being sold at half the price in neighboring countries. The major burden is of taxes , why govt cannot reduce taxes to make t cheap? Probably out of book thinking is required to tackle such grave situation but this govt remains fast as sleep wheras common man suffers and pays bleeding through his nose. l) Why in all these years we have not given thought on police modernization ? they still have to rely on arms and ammunitions which are outdated long back. Even terrorists us modern arms and gazzattes. m) Tourism , Brain drain , building brand india , Research , creating manufacturing Hub , etc etc are other areas which is totally ignored and needs urgent attention.
