I want the love that i read about to step out of the pages to no longer be sentenced in a book but locked away in my heart and in someone elses gaze. i want someone who will spontaneously show up out of nowhere and take me for a picnic with old music and tell tales of their youth, or climb thru my window at night to take me stargazing and make up stories about the universe and the endless possibilities it holds that we can try to grasp with each other or taking me hiking and holding my hand and the silence the whole time or someone who will take me to my favorite coffee shop with a book of poetry and read off his favorites in accents he believed the writer had or take me to the drive ins with a mattress in the back flowers thrown on top with my favorite candies or will kidnap me from my house and take me on scenic drives in unfamiliar places or adventures at night walking down deserted roads or camping away for the weekend without our phones and making love under the trees waking me to watch the sunset and chasing it til it sets or going to a faraway town to grab a bite to eat and make up stories about the strangers that pass or going skinning dipping at night or just raw pure love one with fights and fury, tears and pain, but undeniable innocent passion. But maybe thats all love is words written on empty pages trying to fill the open space in our hearts.
