I want to add some context before this discussion starts on my timeline. I had to share. Here are the things to take into consideration: 1: This was after Katrina. Black people were in a special place in the south. Take that into consideration. 2. Please define white. It is not an ethnicity it is a racial construct. Was he talking about exterminating white people or the concept of whiteness in context with blackness as its polar opposite. 3. Fox specializes in scare tactics. They also asked this brotha to come to the show and had a long list of other black folks they could have asked. They are also being extremely condescending during this interview. I think he was ill prepared and the wrong person to have this conversation. 4. Bush was president. Need I say more? It was a special time for black folks. Feel free to discuss with this context, but please take all 4 of my points into consideration before posting. Thank you in advance. (I have a feeling most ppl wont read my reflections first, but you cant say I did not provide context to this moment from my perspective)
