I want to apologize for not posting photos of Rosie the past - TopicsExpress

I want to apologize for not posting photos of Rosie the past couple of days. My computer is driving me nuts. It’s been crashing and freezing, so it’s been challenging just to post an update let alone crop and post a photo of the Rosie girl. Also, I’ve been having a really difficult time with some of the email I receive regarding Rosie and with some of the posts written on the board. There have been a few times over the past two weeks that I have considered just hitting the delete key on the page. However, two things happened last week that made me stop and think about what this page is about and why I did it in the first place. 1) I received an email from a young woman who follows Rosie. Her mother Jill is battling cancer for the fifth time and there are days she can eat nothing more than whipped cream. Jill gets a big kick out of Rosie’s whipped cream addiction and it makes her smile despite the hard road she is traveling. I hope you will join me in sending strength and prayers to Jill (and to her daughter Amber for writing me). 2) I attended a small gathering at a friend’s house where we all discussed the challenges we face in being at peace with ourselves in a world that is anything but peaceful. I shared what was going on with Rosie’s page and how I was unsure I could continue to keep her message powerful, constructive, and positive. I won’t bore you all with the details but that conversation gave me some understanding of why people feel compelled to attack Rosie or attack me and it gave me some tools to mentally handle that challenge. It also reaffirmed that when I rescued Rosie and made her a public figure, I opened a door that was going to swing both directions and I have to accept that. Rosie’s mission on this earth is to cheer up people who need a smile, connect people with dogs and cats who need homes, educate people about hoarding and special needs animals. Her mission is much more important than my hurt feelings. As soon as I get my computer situation under control, there will be some new Rosie pics…she is enjoying the warm September weather and I think a trip to the beach is in order very soon! Peace, Cinnamon
