I want to give a shout out to the flight crew of Frontier Airlines - TopicsExpress

I want to give a shout out to the flight crew of Frontier Airlines Denver to Nashville (leaving Denver at 12:50pm Wednesday). Midway through the flight a call went out for a nurse or a doctor who could assist someone who was having a medical emergency. It could have been a heart attack as the individual had a history of two heart attacks and was experiencing some issues. The entire crew was mobilized into quick action and the individual had expert care and attention throughout the remaining time of our flight. The customers on board were amazing and everyone mobilized to move their seats while the individual was attended to. Immediately the cockpit contacted a doctor on call while in the air and orders for care were received and initiated. We landed safely and expeditiously and paramedics were waiting at the gate. Many on the flight were praying for the individual, the crew. I have never experienced an issue while in-flight. I felt completely safe and relieved at how this crew managed what could have been a very serious problem. The individual was fine. I pray he experienced no further issues once we landed. He was utterly surrounded by medical folks on the flight. There were a few nurses on board as well as an EMT who was seated in front of him. Thank you, Lord, for having so many caring individuals on this flight. Everyone was amazing! (Did you know that this aircraft was completely equipped for medical eventualities...oxygen, IV materials, are on board? Did you know that at least this flight crew was completely capable of handling medical emergencies?) We apparently were given precedence, first clearance to land, our flight path and landing cleared for an emergency. We had a very fast landing! As soon as the door was opened, paramedics rushed in! And the customers all kept their seats while the individual was attended to. Truly amazing!
