I want to highlight something for which I have experienced in the past few weeks. I have been through the Char Dhaam Yatra from 24 May 2013 till 31 May 2013 and stayed in each of the places for more than 24 hrs. It is really very shocking to see this kind of disaster which has happened in Uttarakhan and the worst affected is the Char Dhaam Routes . There are thousands of Pilgrims and more than that lacs of Locals staying there just to make the Travel for pilgrims more comfortable in terms of Lodging ( Accomodation ) , Food ( Dhabas and Restaurants ) and Many poor people helping the pilgrims in different kinds . I have seen the difficult terrain in the most far flung areas in Uttarakhand which is really remote and a bit more challenging than our so called sweet homes and metropolitan cities. So , i am just trying to explain through this platform , that what kind of problems and difficulties the stranded pilgrims and locals must be facing . We are blaming the Govt , Administration or some kind of authority for the illegal construction on the banks of River Yamuna or River Ganga , but we should also respect that the amount of rainfall and cloud burst which has been in Uttarakhand is not a usual thing. Again ,disaster neither provides a chance to escape nor it gives prior warning. I have the fragile state of poor people staying there and the terrain and weather in which they are staying is one of the most challenging thing . I was supposed to travel on 1st week of June 2013 but somehow i traveled a week before , may be i am sitting in a my sweet room because of Gods Grace. Thank You God for making me realise that You cannot fight Fate and Destiny . If i was travelling in 1st week , i would not be here writing the so called " Gyaan " ( as many people must be thinkinh ) . Rather than critising any state , Govt , authority or administration , if Individually we just Fold our hands and pray to God for all of them in Uttarakhand who are in deep trouble or difficulty , it would make a hell lot of difference . I am writing this as i have just been through every part and place which is been shown in the media since two days . I have been through Yamunotri ( Kharsil ) , Gangotri ( Harsil ) , kedarnath ( Sirsee and Guptkashi ) and Badrinath and have stayed there for a night in each of these places. My journey was rather very comfortable as I had been in choppers to save time , and still felt the difficult terrain in most of the places.
