I want to make a scary house but have it be blunt and to the point about horror. Youd walk into this house and there would be people shooting up heroin, youd see a child watching these people which you could only assume is their parents. Walking around youd stumble onto a woman being raped, screaming for help, asking for what she obviously cant get. A man would be hung, surrounding him would be pictures of him and his family, a child-made card would be sitting on a table next to him that reads I love you dad scribbled in with red crayon. Youd see an anorexic girl next to a pool of vomit only to wonder if why she is like that, why she would put herself through that. At the end of it youd see a timid child who would be battered and bruised, covered in cuts, understanding that this is an abused child youd instinctively go in to help to no prevail. The child would run, to her the only understanding she has of humans is the disgust of them, her life is already set, a life of misery and questioning to god why he would forsaken her like that. The house itself would be a trip into the horrors that we dont really experience, rape, abuse, drug addiction, suicide. This happens more often than not and we dont even bat an eye towards it. It wouldnt be for fun, itd be for the blunt and brass understanding of the inner workings of some of the disgusting and vial things some humans go through, provoking thoughts and feelings of pain, anxiety, and understanding.
