I want to meet the man, woman, or most likely 9yo boy, that was responsible for the first (and presumably only) killing of two birds with one stone. People rattle off Ill kill two birds with one stone as if it were that simple. Have you tried to kill even one bird with a hundred stones? Im a stone-chucker from way back so you can believe me, it cant be done. Unless were talking about taking a large stone and dropping it on a nest of birds that were too stupid to fly away while you were taking the nest out of the tree. Perhaps a ricochet shot from one birds head into its buddy on the branch next to him - clunk-clunk - or perhaps hitting a bird mid-flight, which then drops out of the sky and lands on another bird just standing around on one leg like they do sometimes. Hey look, a one-legged bird! Oh wait, it was just standing on one leg for some reason. Birds are so weird! Lets throw a rock at it. Kids are the worst.. But they are the most likely to come even remotely close to killing two birds with one stone. And what a miracle shot that would be.
