I want to say something to the police officers who keep taunting me with the possibility of prison. Do you imagine for a nanosecond that the threat of imprisonment is enough to stop me doing what Im doing?Im no criminal,and the steps I take along that footpath I take in peace,and often in silence these days.i am not violent,I do not attack anyone.in fact I laugh with you as often as I can.i am not a danger to the public,however I am acting in the interests of the public. Freedom is a state of mind. Do you think your cells can contain my heart and soul and my mind?can they contain my love for my fellow humans and my family and friends.can your cells stop me smiling?singing?writing?visualizing?casting?loving? Of course not. And youd have to let me out one day anyway.... Prison would not deter me in the slightest. I am not afraid to offend my oppressors,I am not a criminal. History will judge us all. And I shall always remain more free than a single one of you in those uniforms. And yes,I would worry about my children,but I am blessed with children that understand what Im doing and why and who know this is a possibility. My children are proud of what I do and because of your threats Ive had to talk to them about this eventuality. But they responded with the love and the insight at their young ages that you havent got in the culmination of your years on this planet. I am incredibly proud of them. I do this for them,for your kids,all of us and all of our loved ones. Its all about choices. I chose to do what my heart tells me is the honourable,just and loving thing to do. What will you chose?
