I want to share some notes I took from the message my pastor passionately delivered on 11-30-2014. He was doing an advent series. This is from the first message on Hope taken from Isaiah 9 and Matthew4:12-17. I will eventually get to the others on love, peace and joy. I am doing this because we all know people who are going through difficulties now. I also want to praise the God of Hope for the situations that have in the past and just recently have seen break throughs and for those that are coming! Hope for today! It not just in the future. There is hope now. Hope In Jesus for your your circumstances. Let this hope culminate. Are you scared, confused and need direction? There is No More gloom for those in distress. Distress and Gloom Come to and End. A light has dawned. Hope for Light in your darkness right now. When in darkness, all you want is light. Be a light in the darkness of the people in your lives, current circumstances/moments and the world around you. Hope for the oppression/fighting to end. It will end! Hope forJoy & Rejoicing. Hope will bring Epic Joy--not just to get you through the situation. Hope in justice and righteousness. Cynical because your is in man, God. Isa 9:6...And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Ever Lasting Father, Prince of Peace. Verse 7...The Zeal of the Lord Almighty will accomplish this. Hope is based on what God can do, not man. Hope should fill you and increase. Hope for others because you have experienced it. I attend Fresno First Baptist where Pastor Joe Basile is the lead pastor. Thanks Pastor Joe!
