I want to share something that happened last night while I was in the ER. While Brian was waiting on his discharge I was out in the hall. I was watching this elderly man in a bed and he kept smiling at me and I was smiling back. Well he motioned for me to go to him, of course I was about to go to him anyway just being myself. lol He just had the sweetest nature about him. We talked and he smiled and ask me if I would take his shoes off. I made sure with the nurse and while she was telling me it was ok, she said to me FYI that sweet gentleman is 100 years old. WOW!!! So I went back and took his shoes off, warmed his feet up and just talked to him. He told me where he was staying in a retirement home and ask me to come visit him. BLESSINGS TO ME!!!! I stayed with him until it was time for my husband to leave. I hugged my new friend and told him I loved him and Jesus did too. I was truly blessed!! I will be visiting him tomorrow and I plan to get to know this man. I learned his family is in Ga so he needs family here. So I think I am going to adopt him. :-)
