I want to share this with you all, as a Christian many times (more than i can count) by friends, family even strangers who dont believe and are lost have said to me you have to forgive when i say im not having anything more to do with someone. Let me explain something to you if you face this same situation with someone who likes to use forgiveness to their advantage to take advantage of your beliefs or Christianity as a vice when they dont believe in God. Yes we must forgive as hard as it may be, but we dont have to allow them to continue to devour our lives and sanity. God says forgive but He also says separate yourself from them and leave it to Him to take care of. Dont let the devil deceive you through the mouths of people trying to steal your joy. Psalms 1:1 “Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.” Proverbs 13:20 “He that walketh with wise men shall be wise: but a companion of fools shall be destroyed.” Ephesians 4:32 - And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christs sake hath forgiven you. 1 Peter 5:7 - Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you. Mark 11:25 - And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses. Luke Chapter 17 3 Take heed to yourselves: If thy brother trespass against thee, rebuke him; and if he repent, forgive him. 4 And if he trespass against thee seven times in a day, and seven times in a day turn again to thee, saying, I repent; thou shalt forgive him. Matthew Chapter 6 14 For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you: 15 But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses. ALWAYS FORGIVE, LOVE THEM THROUGH THEIR SINS AND PRAY FOR THEM BUT DONT THINK YOU HAVE TO BE A PART OF THE LIFE THEYVE CHOSEN TO TRY TO DRAG YOU DOWN IN. BEING A CHRISTIAN DOESNT MEAN YOUR A DOOR MATT OR A TARGET FOR THEIR DEVIL MADE PLANS.
