I want to thank God for watching over Tyler Saturday night, No thanks to the ER nurse at Spruce Pine Hospital, who made Tyler wait to be admitted until I arrived to sign the paperwork! I asked the receptionist why Tyler was not already by in the ER, she said the nurse said hes ok, for him to sit there and wait on his parents. I said whats wrong with her? The doctor is supposed to decide that! The ER nurse hears me, comes behind the receptionist and says, Hes not in any Distress, Tammy in a very rude and sarcastic voice! I wanted to jump over the desk, choke her and say are you in distress Janice? Tyler had a big chuck of steak lodged in his throat that kept coming up making him not able to breath normal or speak, but according to her hes not in any distress!!! Even after I got there she takes him back to triage, what the heck is wrong with that woman, hurry up and get him back to the ER!!! Thank God for watching over me also because I was doing 90 getting there and because also I wanted to slap her up side the head and knock so sense into her! When Jimmy arrived we both went to triage, in front of the nurse, I told Jimmy she made Tyler wait until I got there. She turns around and says he was not in any distress, his color was good, Tammy. I said why do you think he come to the ER this late at night, just to visit Janice? Then I said because he is in distress She turns around and made a loud moan. Then I asked her if he had come in a ambulance would he have to wait for his parents to sign before they would take him back? She said no, so I said whats the difference, if he had the same issue walking in or arriving in the ambulance? I then looked at Tyler and said next time your choking call the ambulance or she might make you wait till we get here! When we finally went back to the Er the nurse told Tyler to change, while we were waiting I could hear the doctor and other nurses laughing, I went out of the room and saw the doctor sitting there laughing. I crossed my arms and gave him one of those looks, when he saw me he quit laughing, got up and sent a man in to take Tyler to Ex-ray. Nothing showed up, doctor made him drink something, Tyler throws up and has trouble breathing but he not in any distress according to ER nurse. Then they give him a shot to relax his muscles, he throws up and the wad of steak finally comes out! Shout out to Outback Steak House! Then the doctor wants to admit him, I dont know why because according to Janice hes not in any Distress! I know not everybody is like that nurse but give me a break! Even when he arrived at the hospital Tyler could hardly speak when he told the receptionist Im choking, she says whens your birthday? Really? I feel better know that I got that off my chest, should I tag Janice in my post? No, I might make her get distressed!
