I want to thank all of you for praying for my sweet son Ross. Ross has been in ICU due to acute pancreatitis. If any of you know about this illness,it is very painful. One of the worst. From ICU to room 270 in a little over 24 hours. He is still in pain but his enzymes are getting better. His triglycerides were 2,300 when admitted. The normal range is around 180. His enzymes dropped in less than 24 hours to 800. He is at least smiling a little bit now without clenching the bed rails . I feel like I can breathe now. The doctor told me today that it was a good thing that Ross got to the hospital when he did, if he hadnt, well all I can say is it would have been bad. He wont be able to eat or drink anything for at least 5 days so he will continue to get his nutrients by I. V. so his pancreas can cool down. He also has an area on his pancreas but that cant be addressed until his pancreas heals. The doctor believes its either a cyst or abscess but to be sure Ross may need to have further testing. What this mother wants to say is thank you for your thoughts, your love, and your prayers. I am overwhelmed. Thank you God for hearing the prayers of Your children and restoring my little Rosss body.
