I want to thank everyone for all their prayers, kind word and having me in their thoughts. These last few days have been some of the scariest days of my life. Thursday night I was taken by ER to the hospital after I had severe chest pain and both my arms went numb. They treated me like I was having a heart attack giving me fast acting meds to open all by vessels. When I got to the hospital they did blood work checking my enzymes. Normal enzymes levels are .01 or lower at 1:00 am mine were .06 so the decided to keep me for observation. At 3:00 am my enzymes were 6.0 and .4 is considered critical so to double check the labs were right an hour later they did it again and at that time they were over 16.0 so at that time I was life delighted to cleveland clinic and put in icu they did a lot of testing looking for blockage but there wasnt any. I do have some heart/muscle damage. I am now in a regular room still in some pain but better. My heart and heart muscles are very swollen so they were thinking a virus was attacking my heart. Well last night early this morning they did a different blood test that checked my CRP levels and they are elevated. They are now questioning heart disease/or a virus. I as of now take baby aspirin, an antibiotic and a pill to help the swelling but Monday I will get a MRI to tell how much heart damage I have and hopefully will have the answers we need. Then we will know how it needs to be treated. As it sounds I have a very long haul to go. I really want to thank my husband, my grandma, my best friend, my mother in law, and some very close friends for pulling together so fast when this all happened as well as all my fb friends and family that have been praying and asking for prayers for me.
