I also want to thank my brother-in-laws, Lee Dillon, for his service in the Coast Guard, and Jerry Pierce, for his service in the Air Force. Ken and I visited the Viet Nam memorial in Washington, DC and it was so moving that I cried all day. I could not believe the number of young men who gave their lives in such an ugly war. I appreciate your service, each and every one. We also visited the Arizona memorial in Hawaii. All I could think of was that ship below the memorial with all those young sailors still aboard. Another day full of tears for me. I thank all the veterans for their service, young and old, here and gone!! With love.
