I want to thank my very first donor (who has chosen to remain anonymous) for his/her generosity. Slowly but surely getting closer to opening my own private human rights practice. I hope to amass a diverse international clientele from victims of wartime atrocities, children, women to journalists abroad, adoption, victims of human trafficking, those working for multinational corporations in deplorable conditions, to well anyone no matter how poor or wealthy they are. Everyone deserves a fair shot in our legal system. Every dollar counts when your clients need probono assistance. Victims of human rights atrocities need competent representation and no ONE should ever be turned away because he cant afford the attorney he wants. Justice should not be based on the almighty dollar. Sadly in todays world we live in such a society. You can work hard, be a Mensch, but no one is immune to hard times. Our lives can change in an instant. Innocent children suffer everyday with no recourse. I will remember each and every person who has helped me get my firm off the ground! This is just the beginning. I tend to ramble on because I am very passionate about helping people receive the justice they deserve.
