I want to thank the OHAN BROTHERS, Domenic and George for their hospitality at their event, I was honored by them with a beautiful plaque. All the Ohan students showed me much respect and friendship, I have grown to know them well over the many years I have supported their tournament, with competitors, breaking demonstrations and seminars. In turn they have shown me great respect, I thank you for that. Me and my team have always been the outsiders at so many events, but we work hard and compete with the best of them. We how ever have to address the judges, in the last two years the judging has been very good, this year something went very wrong. MANY TEAMS, are not happy. As you know I call it like I see it, I call it that way for the betterment of martial arts. The problem comes when judges from many other areas come in and officiate, many are closed minded, and if you dont have the right Kanji on your gi or the right dojo patch, what ever you do doesnt matter. I did not say a word at the tournament this year, even though one center judge was a bit arrogant, when I had a student injured and explained to him that I hope he does not disqualify the person who through the illegal blow, that it was and incidental blow to face, he responded by telling me he knows what he is doing because he has run his own tournaments. I just smiled and and watched him make one sided calls through the night. When I run my event, which IS coming soon, people will see good judges, mistakes will be made but will be corrected and I will run my tournament and all judges will follow the rules and NOT MAKE THEM UP AS THEY GO. The childrens divisions will be addressed later, it was terrible. OSU
