I want to wire my guitars so that both pickups have their own independent volume and output (I dont do tone). that part is easy. next, i want to add in a 3-way switch that combines the two pickups and has its own output (and volume?). I have several ideas in mind where to split the signal from for the 3-way (straight from the pickups, from the volume knobs, from the outputs). I would like to have the best starting point that would reduce loss of signal. For myself, id be just as happy to have an A/B pedal to switch between the pickups, but if I need to let others use my guitar for a show, then theyd be happier with a more standard method.
