I want to wish a very, very, very HAPPY FIRST BIRTHDAY to my beautiful daughters, Kylei Isabella Marie Arce and Kyra Ivy Monroe Arce...who are MY living proof that God is real, He is loving, and He has shown tremendous favor upon me. There isnt a second that goes by that I dont know how blessed I am to have them, and I thank God for sending them to me. I remember the first breath of life that my girls took, those first cries...how those tears of pure joy fell from my eyes onto that delivery room floor. My daughters had made it. 😊 They were almost 2 months premature, weighing just 3lbs 12oz and 4lbs 1oz, but they made it. They were born on a Monday evening, and by Tuesday morning...they were off of oxygen and breathing on their own. Glory! By that weekend, they were out of incubators. Glory! By the next Monday, they didnt need the feeding tubes. Glory! Finally, after just 2 weeks in the NICU...my chiquitas came home. My babies showed their strength and fierceness from the beginning. 😊 Im so proud of them and so amazed at their abilities and rapid growth, both physically and mentally. Theyre super smart, sometimes too damn smart. LOL. They are full of life and fire...so vibrant and free. They bring joy and light wherever they go, and not simply because theyre babies. No, their auras shine like diamonds, their spirits are so big for them to be so small. They are much, much,much more than anything I could have dreamed of or prayed for. Theyre everything...theyre my everything. This first year has been far greater than anything that I could have ever imagined, and I look forward to every year we have to come...especially year eighteen, when I send them off to college and get back my sanity. I know that they wont see this, but...HAPPY BIRTHDAY MIJAS! Te amo niñas. Ustedes son mi vida... mi mundo entero. Mi corazón late por ti dos. Que Dios bendiga todo lo que ustedes son y todo lo que usted será. 😘😘😘😘
