I want what my Grandparents had...I remember even after 40 years of being together, my Grandma still worried about my Grandpa. She worried about him working to hard in the fields, she worried about if he was hungry, she worried about his arthritis in his hands and knees. The point is, she thought about him throughout the day, even after all that time. My Grandpa taught me what a real man was. He worked 7 days a week on his farm and put ALL of his kids through college. He took care of anything and everything my Grandma could have needed or wanted. She only worked because she wanted to, not because she had to. He made it clear he loved her, even though he could go an entire day without saying 10 words. My Grandpa was a firm believer in action speaking louder than words. They were happy and content together for almost 50 years before they passed. I could only hope to ever come close to having what they had.
