I wanted to give a little advice to everyone and warn you. When - TopicsExpress

I wanted to give a little advice to everyone and warn you. When you are meeting someone to sell items, Do Not Have Them Come to Your House! The best place is at a grocery store or Walmart, somewhere public where there are cameras. Also, there is someone on here and all the other groups sale ones, and what she does is express interest in something, changes her mind and then decides to buy it. After meeting her in a public place, I showed her what I had for sale, I had made sure everything was in working order and had it checked (camera equipment) we made the exchange. Not five minutes later, she was threatening me with police to get her money back, claiming my items were broken and that I knew about it. It was not broken and I would not refund her money. She made a really big fuss and threatened my vehicle and such, but eventually backed off. They had intentionally broken the lens on a point and shoot by trying to twist it off and then wanted their money back after they broke it. I just learned from three other people that she did this to them as well. Becareful!! I have always sold and bought on Craigslist and never had a problem ever. Never sold anything that didnt work. If there were flaws, I always noted it and sold as is. That is why there is bargaining. But once the exchange is done... thats it. Dont fall for someone saying they want there money back or else. I also spoke with the sheriffs dept. over this to make sure I was in the clear. Which I was. Just helpful tips, to take extra precaution.
