I wanted to let you all know that when Jax was surrendered to me last month, he was fostered down in Tucson and we had him neutered and vaccinated and chipped and tested for heartworm and tick fever. Well we were told he was heartworm positive, so I needed Jax to be closer to me and had him fostered in Phoenix. Well we took him to our vet to get checked out and redo his bloodwork, I had a nagging feeling about it and when the results came in they were Negative. I was just shocked, so I had the vet send the blookwork out to be tested in an outside lab to get confirmation and JAX is heartworm NEGATIVE! We are so happy for this boy and that he does not have to go through this treatment and on Tuesday we had our wonderful photographer go out and photograph Jax, here are some of the photos... He is currently pending adoption...The applications are still flooding in.....
