I wanted to post a friendly reminder that it is always a good idea to check your student account balance on a monthly basis, but especially before a new quarter begins. Little fines and fees such as parking tickets and library fines can add up quickly and end up resulting in late fees from the University and/or holds on your account. Another good thing to know is that if you have a balance from a prior quarter, the University may withhold your financial aid until that balance is paid. Also, it is the responsibility of every student to check their account to make sure that all charges that have been applied are correct, and all charges that should have been applied have been, i.e. rent.
