I wanted to post about the concrete barriers, with road closed signs attached, placed on tracks on Ulupna Island leading to the National and Regional parks that are on the Island. I emailed Parks Vic on Oct 15th and questioned Parks about the closures, Why and for how long? and they replied with a link to their website, all it said was, The following areas on Ulupna Island are closed: Ulupna, Lagoon and Faraway Beaches in the Barmah National Park section of the island; Breens, Forest and Lang Beaches in the River Murray Reserve section of the island. at Barmah National Park Friday 17 October, 2014. October 15th a news article was in the Numurkah Leader(local Newspaper) citing that the roads are Closed Indefinitely Thanks Graham Thomas for pointing out Parks Victorias behavior with the public. Also ask in writing your local state member.
