I wanted to present the original version that I worked off of to get the final product of “SONG CALLED, “7:77 (I FOREVER LOVE YOU)” so people can get an idea of what the basic skeleton of the song was vs. what the end product became. Besides various overdubs to get to the completed version, I had to change the speed and pitch in a few places due to the aspects of recording it live in an outside forum. I think it was around 3 am when I recorded this at my work, which was South Transfer Station in Seattle. I brought my 2 track recorder and performed the acoustic guitar and vocal live, mistakes and all, within a couple takes. I liked the natural sound of the concrete building where I was recording it, which gave off this warm reverb and echo without using electronics. So, this version is the purist form of this tune that I used. Its as raw as it gets. This is song #582. 7:77 RAW FILE ITS 7:77, AND I WISH YOU WERE HERE.
