I wanted to share this photo with you. This is my daughter Katie holding the baby blanket I made for her 31 years ago. She has slept with this blanket everyday of her life since she was born. the reason Im sharing this is because in several of the groups I am in a lot of people ask about finishing off their piece. and while I think in is definitely a matter of what you prefer. I sew my ends in and I always have. Katie has never had to treat her blanket delicately. And it has never unraveled not even in one spot. Thats a whole lot of use for a blanket! so when people ask me I always suggest sewing those ends in.
