I was a server for a long time, & what some may not understand is not only do most servers make below minimum wage because the bulk of their salary is tips, but they also are taxed on the total sales.. at least we were years ago. Rather than being taxed on my modest income, I was taxed on my sales as a way to tax the tip income as well. In short, if people refused to tip, or tipped poorly, I would have paid the government to wait on them. Something is seriously wrong with that system. So many that eat out are rude & beyond messy thinking it is the servers job to take their crap & clean up after them. Its not... get over yourself! As a server, Sundays were the worst. We would all cringe & wait for the God squad to arrive.. they were many, they were over the top rude & demanding, & left very small tips. Today I am a believer & a follower, but definitely no thanks to any believers I met eating out back then... Represent your God well.. you cant serve both God & money. Remember that when you go to tip!!
