I was a young Tlicho working at Indian Brotherhood of the NWT in Yellowknife back then Chief Frank TSeleie maded this statement, I was never ever so proud and fill with pride, passion and determination to help stop the pipeline. The Canadian Govt have learnt from their mistake of holding a public inquiry asking people of the north if we wanted it build? Never again, in our lifetime will we ever experience such open hearing. I also remember traveling in the south with Dene Chiefs seeking southern support from Natives across Canada, Church groups, Canadian Council and many more other supportive allies. Altogether, we were successful because we had a common goal, common enemy and we stick together not breaking our solidarity. That was so key and important. So as you fight your battle in BC, Alberta and US and where the proposed pipeline is approved. Seek new grounds, new affirmation of commitment by working together. Stick together! Fight together! Your homeland needs us all.
