I was almost lost for words when I read this. The worrying thing for Australia at the moment is that our Parliament is full of the most ignorant, uneducated people on this earth which is making us the laughing stock of the world. China has shown no inclination to invade anywhere, let alone Australia, which is a ludicrous suggestion. The Government is attacking the remarks of, course because of the amount of trade we have with China and Labors response is one that fits within that attitude of not wanting to hurt our trading, but is rather weak in that it has not pointed out the political and historical reality, which is that China is not the country which goes around invading countries. It would be amusing to see the reds under the bed rhetoric if it wasnt so embarrassing to have the rednecks running rampant, both inside the Government and out.
