I was asked once what my idea of a perfect man consisted of, this is what I came up with: His smile should be kind And his eyes true It doesnt really matter if they are brown, green or blue. His heart should be honest and pure And possess a love that can endure. He should be faithful and strong And able to talk all night long. He must hold me tight, yet let me fly And never, ever make me cry. A God fearing man With me in his plan. A warm embrace, a healing touch Is that asking too much? A man who appreciates my hidden talents And never takes me for granted A considerate man who never makes me question And makes me feel planted. A family man who works hard And never plays the poor me card. A man wealthy with knowledge and full of laughter That is my happily ever after. A humble hero, tall in stature Soft lips...that is another matter. Reassuring and consistent Driven and persistent. Generous with his talents With a never ending supply of balance. He must possess the ability to see the beauty around him And the love that stands before him. He must share his hopes and dreams With the confidence that I will never leave. He must own his own mistakes No matter what it takes. Confident and proud But not too loud. I want to be weak in the knees And only please. I will never settle for less Than a man who understands my mess!
