I was at Cherokee Lake shooting in a different direction when I noticed a little activity at the top of a small tree and was able to just get this one shot off of what, after some research (Warblers and similar small birds can be so confusing to me, there are so many to choose from), due to the white side feathers on the tail, the white ring around the eye and the dullish green color may be a Pine Warbler, possibly a first year female. Hoping I will get some input on this as I really want to try to get better at identifying these small birds and this group has so many knowledgeable TN birders.
