So....Im up late...and Ive been thinking a lot about this lady that was beaten in the face on the freeway.... And the lack of outrage...I couldnt help but wonder...that if the Patrolman involved in the beating was Black...and the woman he was sitting on top of and punching in the face 15 times was a white ...would there be a different level of outrage from the public? Im just curious...idk the answer to that... the woman was 51 years old...and a grandmother....Are we desensitized to watching black people be beaten? Do we deep down inside feel like if a white male is beating someone black ..the black person probably deserved it ? But beyond race....why is this not a womans issue.... A woman ( grandmother) was being pounded in the head in broad daylight? Where are the womens rights groups? Black women spend so much time giving support to all these Feminist lobbys but is the support reciprocal ???.... Black women are women too right? Where is their advocacy ? Or does it not count when the colors dont match?!? Are black women less than their white female comrades in the struggle for womens rights? IDK the answers to these questions ... But they do make me think...
