I was at my event on Friday April 25, 2014 and my sister called me. I answered the phone and couldnt hear what she was saying so I asked her to please send a text. When the text came in, I was in dis-belief. The news was, My Aunt had passed away. Unbelievable!!! How could this be? She was just admitted in the hospital on Wednesday and we all thought she would have been out soon after receiving treatment that was needed. After the tears and many questions in my mind, the conclusion is God knows what is best and all I can do now is stay closer to the family members who are alive and keep the memories that I shared with Auntie Rose close to my heart. She is gone but certainly not forgotten and I thank you God for the opportunities that I had sharing moments with her as a child in Jamaica and the 3 cousins I have grown to love that she had.
