I was awake half of last night so I started reading Roberta - TopicsExpress

I was awake half of last night so I started reading Roberta Cowells autobiography. I also shared her love of motor racing. I raced cars for 20 years and even hovered on the fringes of Formula 1 at one stage. The excitement, sights, sounds and smells of racing oil, fuel and rubber is a heady mix. When she transitioned in 1948 she began to realise that to her, racing was just a symbol to try and prove her masculine virility and her enthusiasm for the sport declined. It came as no surprise to me that we share the same feelings. I have lost most of my interest in the sport. Although I still watch F1, I dont enjoy it the same way as I used to and frequently get bored with it and fall asleep half way through a race or go and find something else to do.
