I was born and raised in the township of Meadowlands in Soweto, - TopicsExpress

I was born and raised in the township of Meadowlands in Soweto, where I got exposed to the violent and nervous conditions of native. As a 23 year old student at Rhodes University today, I have come to understand the depths of institutionalised White racism, a feature of a colonial reality. Because of all this, I criticise my government on a lot of things - from the education system to an untransformed economy. But despite and in spite of all this, there is nowhere else Id rather live (except Chimanimani in Zimbabwe). I love my country with every fibre of my being. Let me repeat that: With all its problems and limitations, I love South Afrika with every fibre of my being. This country is my home. Good night, my people.
